Strengthen gluteals and quadriceps to relieve knee and hip osteoarthritis, scoliosis

Muscles of the lower extremities such as the gluteals and quadriceps support the weight of the entire upper body and are the strong propellers for locomotion. Knee or hip arthritis are often due to long-term imbalance in these muscles, resulting in joint tissue wear and tear. People with scoliosis also exhibit lateral displacement of the pelvis for the same reason. Strengthening the gluteals and quadriceps can ease the symptoms of arthritis, stabilise the hips and increase flexibility. If symptoms persist, please consult your chiropractor for a detailed examination, diagnosis and treatment.
